These guys are young to have such a mature bar/honkytonk sound. I really like this song ‘ Robert Johnson ‘. While listening to this song it for some reasons reminds me of my early adult life. My introduction to clubbing when music was just starting to become overcharged with dance,punk and rap. Rock and R & B music was just starting to blend. White and black artists were recording hits together; anyway that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Enjoy

What does the name mean or represent? I don’t know but it’s different like this band. This is not your everyday garage or college sounding band. Take a look and listen because you will definitely be hearing more from Fallbrooke.
This is a must hear band. When I saw the cover I was thinking ok another band to listen to but at least the cover of the cd is creative and I kinnda like the sci-fi / out of this world name. However readers when I clicked play I soon realized this is no ordinary band.
Now I’m one of those people that listens to all music : However from the first song thru the last song this Satellite state held my attention. ” I actually leaned back in my chair and closed my eyes and smiled as I listened. ” I don’t know about you but there’s not many bands out there that can pull that one over on you. Needless to say I love this friggin band.
I have put this in my car cd player and my son and I both have loaded the cd into our computers so we can play it anytime. I also have it on my sleep playlist because it’s just so damn soothing. You don’t check em out it will be you loss. While checking my comments I came across a band that had an older woman on the cover of their CD. ( Ok she was old, but very happy ) Anyway: I listened to the songs that was sent as I always do and while I listened I thought I think I hear touches of Neil young and Coldplay with a little western twang. You should look at the list of bands these guys listed that they like. I thought I was a collage of mixed music. The point is I like them and that’s what matters. (smile)

Satellite Party
Farrell performing at the London Astoria in June 2007 Farrell recently formed a new band/theatrical entity entitled The Satellite Party.
Satellite Party is an entire piece of music, with a story line that is a fantasy version of his relationship with his wife, Etty Lau Farrell. Etty sings and plays her part on the record as well as the live stage shows. Satellite Party made its debut appearance in Los Angeles at The Key Club on July 18, 2005, followed by a performance at Lollapalooza 2005, held in Grant Park in downtown Chicago on July 24, 2005.
In November 2006, Satellite Party played with The Doors at the Whisky a Go Go on the Sunset Strip, for the Doors’ 40th anniversary.
Their debut album, Ultra Payloaded, released on May 29, 2007, on Columbia Records, with contributions from artists such as John Frusciante and Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, electronic dance producers Hybrid, former Red Hot Chili Peppers/Pearl Jam drummer Jack Irons, Joy Division/New Order bassist Peter Hook, and Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas.[7]
Satellite Party performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 27, 2007. On June 29, 2007, Satellite Party performed alongside Pearl Jam, Kings of Leon and Queens of the Stone Age at Rock Werchter, Belgium. They also performed at Buzz Beach Ball 3 in Kansas City, Missouri (a concert sponsored by KRBZ), and EndFest 16 in Seattle, Washington.

I don’t know about you folks but in my eyes it’s creative rare people like Farrell that always can spice a room up. Music and art is what brings color and life. We need more people who love music and art and that will give of their talents to bring joy to a somewhat mundane society.
