Freedom, self love

positive thinking.
As a young girl, my
mother taught me
these words and
lived by them.
My mother also
encouraged me to be
a strong person with
an individual and
unique personality.
I was fortunate to be
able to experience
my choices in
cultural art, music,
fashion, and books.
Growing in a loving
home I watched the
confidence that
she had in being
herself and not
trying to please
anyone other than
God and her family.
She also showed me
the exquisiteness
in listening to and
enjoying various
arts, literature and
music.
